Cocaine Summer

I hit a cocaine summer. She was back again

I thought we'd bade farewell years ago, my friend

I can't tell you where I'm going

I can't tell you where I've been

I won't forget your promises to be there till the end

In the cocaine summer, she was back again

So many whispered warnings guess I forgot to send

When no one would dare to touch me

There was no love in sight

You wrapped me in your snow white wings

Held me with all your might

It was a cocaine summer, yeah she was back again

I could tell her everything and never offend

I could open up my heart so wide

I know she'd see me through She shared her invincibilities

There was nothing we couldn't do

In that cocaine summer

Now the fall is coming. There's chill in the the wind

Oh, my poison lover, how sweetly we sin

I know I must let your hand go

You know I'll always savour your touch

I'd profess my dying love for you

But I know you know how much….

It was a cocaine summer and she was back again

And so I guess we'll bid farewell once again my friend

I can't tell you where I'm going

Baby, you know where I've been

I won't forget your promises to be there till the end

It was a cocaine summer

I hit a cocaine summer
